Hope is the fuel that powers life.
One of my favorite parts of New Years is seeing so many people filled with hope. It is a time where we leave the weight of the past year behind us and look hopefully towards better days. Though, somewhere in the year, all too often as early as January 1st, life does not go exactly as planned. We face challenges and setbacks. We experience disappointments and heart break. And somewhere amidst the storms of life, we lose sight of Hope.
Hope is powerful. Think of how great you feel when you’re at your most hopeful. Here’s the thing: Hope is always there for you, waiting for you to grab it. In your difficulties, in your absolute lowest of lows, if you can grab on to hope, even the slightest sliver of hope, you can soar. Be hopeful.
Isaiah 40:31
“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
